$32 billion maintenance sector expected to rebound after GFC slowdown
Australia’s $32 billion maintenance industry is on the cusp of a significant upturn, according to a new report released by leading industry analyst and economic forecaster, BIS Shrapnel.
Maintenance in Australia, 2010 – 2025, BIS Shrapnel’s fifth comprehensive review of the maintenance industry, reports that while overall maintenance spending suffered a setback during the economic downturn, activity is set to pick up strongly through to the middle of the decade across a range of infrastructure and non-residential building sectors.
