Inner Brisbane Apartments 2009 – 2016 continues BIS Shrapnel's series of reports on this unique component of the Brisbane residential market. The study covers seven inner city apartment precincts, highlighting each of their own distinctive demand and supply profiles.

The 2009 update provides a comprehensive review of the apartment market including:

• a profile of apartment residents
• rental trends, rental yields and forecasts
• apartment price trends and forecasts
• forecast supply and vacancy rates

The report subsequently provides a complete update of our forecasts over the 2009 to 2016 period, including underlying demand, supply, rental, and values. In particular, the study includes specially run data from the recent Census to provide the most up to date and comprehensive demographic profile of Inner Brisbane apartment residents available. New additions to the 2009 study include the addition of two more apartment precincts - Inner North and Woolloongabba. Also included is an analysis of indicative after tax rental returns over time, and trends in residual site values.
 
Inner Brisbane Apartments 2009-2016 is expected to be published end of October 2009.
