BIS Shrapnel, Australia’s pre-eminent economic, building and property forecasting company is now offering an ideal position for a Senior Economist/Economist to join their Economic Forecasting Team. The ideal candidate will have a good economics degree (honours preferred). You will have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Economist. High level data skills, strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. You will need to have a good understanding of the Australian economy and an interest and/or experience in forecasting and modeling. You will have the opportunity to write, edit and/or significantly contribute to the monthly Economic Outlook Bulletin and annual Long Term Forecasts reports. You will also be involved in building client relationships, where you would be managing the full cycle of economic research/consulting projects, including project scoping, organising internal resources, management and final delivery to private clients, as well as presentations.
