The Power Tools Market in Australia, 2007

In May, BIS Shrapnel produced the fourth edition of its power tools report, to meet the market information needs of a product that lacks good quality market data.

Earlier editions of this study were published in 2001, 2003 and 2005.

The 2007 edition incorporates a separate power tools trade survey; this was in direct response to clients requests.

The consumer research is the result of a telephone survey of 4,000 households in Australia (metropolitan Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth and regional area of New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland).

In addition, for the first time we will conduct 300 trade interviews via telephone to obtain trade feedback on power tools; we will focus on tradesmen across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
