Structural Engineered Wood Products in the Pacific Rim and Europe, 2013 – 2017

The latest edition, due to be published in 2013 will combine market research and forecasts to provide a strategic analysis of the prospects for structural engineered wood products in the Pacific Rim and Europe. Products will include laminated veneer lumber (LVL), laminated strand lumber (LSL), cross laminated timber (CLT), I-joists and glue laminated lumber (glulam).

The study will include an overview of the world market and separate chapters for each region. Regions and countries include: Australasia (Australia, New Zealand), Europe (including Russia), North America (Canada, United States), North Asia (China, Japan), South America (Chile, Brazil), and South Asia (Malaysia, India, Indonesia).

For each region and country the report includes economic forecasts, building industry forecasts, a review of the forest resource, an overview of the industry structure, and five years of historical data and forecasts for production, consumption and trade for each of the products. Cost of production and prices with forecasts are provided where possible.

The report facilitates decisions on production, investment, marketing, trade and pricing. It is particularly useful to potential investors, producers, equipment and resin suppliers, research organizations, and governments and agencies responsible for forest products.
